From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

The Ateneo de Manila University Archives, located on the ground floor of Faber Hall in Quezon City, Philippines, has been the central repository of non-current records of the administrative offices, academic departments, and student organizations of the Ateneo de Manila University since 1958. It was established by priests Leo Cullum, S.J., Horacio de la Costa, S.J., and John Schumacher, S.J.

First located in the Bellarmine Hall, the university archives were transferred in 1967 to the Rizal Library, and became a distinct service unit in 1974 with the purpose of selecting, preserving, and administering permanent University records and personal papers of administrators, faculty, and alumni.[1][2]

In 2012, the University Archives were transferred to their current location in Faber Hall.[3]

Collections[edit]

The Archives currently possesses 650 linear feet of microfilms, 4,000 volumes of University serial publications, and 70 linear feet of personal papers. It also has non-textual artifacts such as tapes, films, maps, plaques, and building plans.[1]

Services[edit]

Research, photocopy, and exhibit services are provided to Ateneo researchers and outsiders.[1]
