Atlantic Station shooting
Two young men were shot dead near Atlantic Station in Atlanta, Georgia on Nov. 26, 2022. Zyion Charles, a 12-year-old boy, died at the scene, and six others were wounded.[1] Four or five days later, another 15-year-old boy, Cameron Jackson, died from his injuries. The shooting was suspected by Atlanta Police to have had gang overtones, and Charles was allegedly a gang memmber. Two persons of interests were caught on camera allegedly celebrating the shooting by making positive hand gestures, such as making fist bumps and showing excited emotions; however, no suspects have been identified or arrested.
