Atomicorp provides cybersecurity and compliance for the protection and support of cloud workloads, servers, and hybrid environments. Atomicorp products are built on top of the OSSEC Host-Based Intrusion Detection System..[1][2]

History[edit]

Mike Shinn (CEO) and Scott Shinn (CTO) co-founded Atomicorp in 2015 and is based in Chantilly, VA.[3][4][5]

OSSEC Project[edit]

OSSEC is a leading Host-Based Intrusion Detection System (HIDS), used for cybersecurity and compliance.[11][12]   Founded in 2005, the OSSEC project is currently maintained by Atomicorp who both stewards and hosts the free and open source project[13] and also offers an enhanced commercial product[14].

OSSEC Conference[edit]

Atomicorp runs the annual OSSEC Conference, where all active developers and members of the community get together to discuss OSSEC and its future[15]. The 2019 OSSEC Con was held March 20-21st outside Washington DC[16]
