Auburn Avenue is a biannual online publication based in Atlanta, Ga that publishes interviews, essays, poetry, short stories, and photography by people of color.[1][2][3][4][5] The publication is inspired by the historical and cultural significance of Auburn Avenue in the predominately African-American Sweet Auburn neighborhood of Atlanta.
The Inaugural Issue[edit]
The Inaugural Issue of Auburn Avenue, also known as the Autumn/Winter 2016 Issue launched on November 4, 2016. Its theme was "The Importance of Remembering The Past."[6]
