Audio Trip is an early access singleplayer VR rhythm game developed by Kinemotik and published by Andromeda Entertainment. The game takes long tracks consisting of different varieties of colored gems that are placed in a pattern for the player to hit in order to imitate a dance.
Gameplay
Audio Trip is a VR rhythm game where players use their controllers to control a pair of Hand Gems, intending to hit Gems, Directional Gems, Drums, and Ribbons in tune with music tracks, all while dodging six-sectioned barriers. Maintaining accuracy along with continuing to dodge the red barriers will increase the player’s score modifier and net the player a much higher score. The primary gameplay loop of Audio Trip’s Choreographies is to emulate dancing along to the songs with upper and lower body movements. All of the stock songs are rated in 3 difficulties: Beginner, Regular, and Expert.
In addition to the traditional difficulties, there’s an extra mode for all of the included songs called Cardio mode that’s focused around encouraging the user to move around as much as possible to the rhythm of the music.
