August Raber (born March 2009) is Swedish-British racing driver who is set to compete in the 2025 F4 British Championship with Argenti Motorsport.
Racing career
Karting
Raber began his motorsport journey in karting, quickly rising through the ranks in the UAE and international karting circuits. He gained recognition for his performances in the Rotax Euro and the UAE Karting Championship, securing multiple podiums and race wins. He grabbed a 6th place finish in the Champions of The Future Academy in 2023
Formula 4
2024
Raber made his Formula 4 debut in the 2024 F4 British Championship with Xcel Motorsport, competing in a limited number of rounds due to a injury. Despite being new to the series and reportedly had minimal testing prior, he impressed with three rookie podiums and a top-five finish in his second race.
2025
For the 2025 season, August Raber secured a dual full-time campaign—competing in the Formula 4 UAE Championship with Yas Heat Racing Academy and returning to the ROKiT British F4 Championship with Argenti Motorsport for his sophomore year in the series.[1][2]
Raber began the year with a breakthrough performance in the F4 Middle East Championship, claiming his maiden single-seater victory at Yas Marina during Round 2.[3] He went on to finish the championship 8th overall, securing multiple top-10 finishes.
However, it is in the 2025 British F4 Championship where Raber has drawn significant attention. Racing for Argenti Motorsport, he won the season opener at Donington Park, followed by a second victory at Snetterton’s reverse-grid Race 2, which saw him temporarily take the championship lead.[4][5] He has consistently finished inside the top ten, solidifying his position as a title contender in the ultra-competitive championship.[6]
Raber’s rapid progress and consistent results have positioned him as a standout prospect in junior single-seaters. Personal life
Raber was born in London, England, in March 2009. He holds Swedish and British citizenship but currently competes under the Emirati flag, as he is part of the Yas Heat Racing program, which supports UAE-based racing talent. Raber lives in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, where he trains and prepares for his international racing commitments.
