Austin Bush
Austin Bush is an American photographer and writer, specializing in Thai cuisine and culture.[1][2][3]
Bush graduated from the University of Oregon in 1999, and studied Thai on a scholarship at Chiang Mai University. Based in Bangkok, Bush's articles and photographs have appeared in Lonely Planet, CNN Travel, VICE Munchies, the Washington Post, Lucky Peach, and The Wall Street Journal Asia.[4][5][6][7] In 2019, Bush published The Food of Northern Thailand, a cookbook featuring northern Thai recipes.[8][9][10] The co-author of Fantastic Food Search, a blog focusing on food guides to Asian cities, Bush has previously hosted pop-up dinner events co with chefs Andy Ricker of Pok Pok, and with Dylan Jones and Bo Songvisava of Bo.lan.[11][12]
