The choir received accolades in the German and Danish press [2]before returning to Australia for its inaugural recital. Clive O’Connell’s review in The Age, titled “New Choir Delivers Powerfully” enthused “the ACC’s vital reading of Bach’s Singet dem Herrn: choral work of the top rank, as lucidly articulated as you could desire, the bustling interweaving of eight lines coming across in this revealing acoustic with impressive purpose and intonational fidelity”.[3]

Between 2007 and 2019, the ACC toured Europe every two years, with a total of 116 engagements in eight countries. Venues have included St Martin-in-the-Fields London, Notre Dame Paris, the Augustinerkirche Vienna, Saint Germain Geneva, the Baltic Philharmonic Hall Gdansk, Trinitatis Copenhagen, Ognissanti Florence, Thomaskirche Leipzig and the cathedrals of Berlin, Bonn, Freiberg, Klagenfurt, Konstanz and Lausanne.[4]
