Autodoc GmbH is a German company headquartered in Berlin.[2] It operates online shops for car and truck spare parts in 27 European countries.[3][4] Due to its strong growth it has been called one of the "hidden champions" of the industry.[5] In 2020 its turnover was 830 million euros.[6]

The company was founded by Volga Germans Alexey Erdle, Max Wegner und Vitaly Kungel in 2008[6] and it operated first in Weißensee before moving to the Berlin district of Lichtenberg in 2010. It began its international expansion in 2011 by expanding to Austria and Switzerland, followed by the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Spain the next year.

In 2017, Autodoc advertisements appeared on Swedish websites with right-wing populist content. The company confirmed the placement of the ads, but rejected the accusations of proximity to radical right-wing ideas and acknowledged democratic principles.[7] According to the company the banners were placed via third-party service providers (programmatic advertising).[8]
