Autumn Breeze

Autumn Breeze is a Swedish rock group with members from Forshaga, Säffle, Stockholm and Karlstad. The rock group was formed in 1972, founded by Gert Nilsson and Leif Forsberg. During the years 1972-1979 the rock group did several performances and recordings. The first LP album Höstbris was released in 1979 on Ö-records label. In 2009, two albums were released, containing previously unpublished recordings, På Radio 1979 and Demo tapes (Cassette tapes) on MyRecords label. In 2010, an album with newly recorded music was released, titled The Autumn Band, also on MyRecords label. This was followed up in 2012 with the first part of the trilogy 20:12 "Glimpses from a lifetime", also on MyRecords label. In 2013, the other two parts were released, 20.12 Demolition Suite and Suite Avis Fenics. All parts of the trilogy have a length of 20 minutes and 12 seconds.

The music of Autumn Breeze has been characterized as prog rock, progressive rock music and symphonic rock music by critics, reviewers and music historians, however without political lyrics which were very common during the 1970s and 1980s in Sweden. The band now has an audience worldwide, created during the years from the release of "Höstbris" and forward.

Leif Forsberg, vocals; Birgitta Nilsson, vocals; Gert Nilsson, guitar; Gert Magnusson, flute, saxophone and guitar; Kenneth Halvarsson, bass, clarinet, and saxophone; Jan Warnqvist, keyboards; Lennart Olsson, drums.

Before the production of the album "The Autumn Band", William Bellbrant, guitar, joined the band instead of Gert Nilsson and Leif Forsberg. Birgitta Nilsson did not participate on that album.
