Avant Nova Is the upcoming 8th EP and first under a major label by American rapper Slayr. Scheduled for July 2026 it serves as a follow up to Half Blood (Bloodluxe), Slayr's first EP since Luxe 0.1, and as the precursor to Fabula Nova. The EP contains a guest feature that is currently unknown.

Background and Promotion
After Slayr announced Fabula Nova on X, he preformed at both Rolling Loud & Summer Smash in Orlando and Chicago respectively, and featured on Lyrical Lemonade, playing music that was suspected to be on Fabula Nova. On June 28, 2026 Slayr announced Avant Nova, originally titling it Prior Nova before changing it to its current name a few days later, The EP being scheduled for July 2026. On July 1, 2026 Slayr announced on Instagram that the EP had 6 tracks and one feature.
