Avid Liongoren is a Filipino animation filmmaker and illustrator for both animated and live-action.[1] He began to rose national popularity among his works developed animated features aimed for adult audiences, his feature debut was live-action animated hybrid film Saving Sally, and the second film also the first fully adult animated film in the Philippines, Hayop Ka!.
However, his birthdate and age is unknown.

Avid Liongoren is better known for his old site including his own namesite and Project365.com, who works on his art in late 1990s to present, and self produced his several short films and music videos during the development of the first feature film. Avid founded Rocketsheep Studio, which was mostly named after his own art site titled "littlerocket.net" in 1997, resembles both early arts between Nov 1999 as a "little rocket"[2] and Feb 2000 as a "sheep", then he changed his site's name from "little rocket" to "rocketsheep" as the portmanteau term to rocket and sheep[3] until was defunct in 2005.[4] His works are developed mostly for TV commercials and music videos in 2000s.
Saving Sally, a first film by Avid, it was first introduced in mid-2000s after the concept by Charlene Sawit in 2000, originally titled Monster Town as a short story. It began in early-2000s and took twelve years to develop the film before was released in Philippine cinemas on Christmas Day as an official submission at the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival,[5][6] which received both commercial success and positive reviews from critics in the Philippines.
Another film, Hayop Ka!, the first fully animated film concepted after Saving Sally and took three years to produce, describe it as "light and comical", which it aims for adults due to profanity and sexual content like the previous film did.[7] The film starring Angelica Panganiban, Robin Padilla, and Sam Milby. The film was distributed by Netflix to positive reviews and was nominated as an official selection for main competition at the 2021 Annecy International Animated Film Festival.[8]
In 2019, after the development of Hayop Ka!. It was announced two animated projects based on other works; Zsazsa Zaturnnah Vs The Amazonistas Of Planet X, a superhero film based on a komik "Zsazsa Zaturnnah" by Carlo Vergara, where did it posted at Facebook,[9] after originally pitched as a television series nor another live-action film but agreed to produce as an animated film with Vergara as a screenplay.[10] Light Lost, a fantasy adventure based on the graphic novel of the same name by Rob Cham.[11]
In June 2021, due to popular success in Netflix, a sequel titled Hayop Ka Din! was announced by CNN Philippines and director Avid, with Empoy Marquez as Jerry the Frog, possibly reprise his role.[12]
