Avinash Dwivedi (born 19 August 1989) is an Indian actor, dancer, model and writer. He started his career as a contestant on IBIBO Ivideo star judged by choreography duo Bosco-Caesar. Avinash played Kanhaiya Kumar in Yatra (company)'s famous 'Azaadi' themed campaign.[1][2] He is married to actress Sambhavna Seth.[3][4][5]

Early life

Avinash was born as Avinash Dubey in a Hindu family in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. His family moved often and before settling in Delhi. He eventually completed his schooling from Raisina Bengali Senior Secondary School, Delhi. He tried to pursue a diploma in software engineering but dropped out to focus on building a career in acting. In order to support his theater activities, Avinash taught dance in local schools. He came to Mumbai in 2009 after being shortlisted as a finalist in IBIBO Ivideo star.

Career

Avinash eventually went on to win the IBIBO Ivideo star and landed a contract to star in a dance video choreographed by Bosco-Caesar. In 2010, Avinash participated in Mahuaa TV's dance-reality show Dance Sangram, judged by Shweta Tiwari and industry veteran Saroj Khan. He went on to win the show in a closely contested final and won Rs 1 Million.[6] After tasting success in dancing, Avinash started getting modelling and acting offers. He has worked for brands like Quikr,[7][8] Tata Sky, Carlsberg and Yatra (company).[9]

Avinash made his Bollywood debut in the movie Ranbanka opposite Manish Paul in a negative role. Avinash has appeared in episodes of Savdhaan India on Life Ok and Crime Patrol on Sony Tv.

Personal life

After a long courtship, Avinash married actress Sambhavna Seth in 2016. Their marriage was widely reported in media. Post marriage, the couple made their first appearance in Comedy Nights Bachao.[10]
