Awake Illinois is a non-profit corporation with the purpose of improving quality of life for others at a community, local, and state level.

Awake Illinois had its first meeting in Naperville May 2, 2021. As of February 2022, there are 32 Awake IL chapters across the state of Illinois with 30,000 member & follower outreach.[2]
