AWP
Jeffrey Joel Tye (born September 19, 1992), better known by his stage name AWP, is an American DJ and electronic music producer from Los Angeles. He has played at multiple clubs in Los Angeles.[1] [2] and Orange County[3], and was featured in a special set at WTHN Festival[4] in Anaheim.
Playing for crowds of 800+ people, AWP has become a staple of the local talent in Los Angeles. On the 26th of April 2019, he performed at The Avalon Nightclub in Hollywood bringing his old school Dubstep sounds with his new school Futurebass vibes[5].
He has had a crushing love for music since 2006, listening to artists such as Sublime, Avenged Sevenfold, and Metallica. When the big dubstep and EDM wave hit in 2010, his interest was instantly piqued. In 2013 he was actively listening to EDM on a daily basis. He finally went to his first festival in 2015, and immersed himself into the world of EDM firsthand. After getting so much inspiration, late 2017 he finally got his hands on some decks, and started mixing music, only to start playing in front of crowds one year later. Now he is spreading his love for music in front of hundreds of people here in LA, even reaching 10,000 plays on his Trancegiving Mix[6]
