Aishat Oladejo (born 26 November 1991), known professionally as Ayeesha, is a Nigerian AfroPop recording artist. She records in Yoruba and English. In 2014, she released a cover song for "Aye" by Davido.[1]

Early life[edit]

Aishat Oladejo was born in Ibadan, Nigeria, on 26 November 1991. Growing up, she was inspired by various music artists such as Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, and Sade, which led her to pursue a career in music.[2]

Music career[edit]

Ayeesha has been involved in music since her childhood. In 2014,[3] she did a cover of Davido's "Aye" song under the stage name Mzz_Thalia. She is an independent artist and is known as a notable female artist in Nigeria. She was nominated for the promising act to watch at the 2019 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and listed among 2021's promising artists. Ayeesha released her first single "Into My Bed"[4][5] recently, which is available on all digital platforms globally.
