Aishat Oladejo (born 26 November 1991), known professionally as Ayeesha is a Nigerian AfroPop recording artist. She records in Yoruba and English. In 2014, she released a cover song for Aye by Davido.[1]
Early life[edit]
Aishat Oladejo was born in Ibadan, Nigeria, on the 26th of November, 1991. Growing up to be fan and lover of various music especially, the likes of Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson and Sade inspired her to go for music.[2]
Music career[edit]
Ayeesha has been into music since childhood, in 2014[3] she did a cover to Davido's Aye song when she was answering the stage name Mzz_Thalia. She is an independent artist but also a very notable and popular female artist in Nigeria. She was nominated for the promising act to watch at the 2019 Nigeria Entertainment Awards and listed among 2021 promising artists.She is one of the best artist in Nigeria presently. Ayeesha released her first single "Into My Bed"[4][5] recently and it is already in all digital platforms across the globe. She is looking forward to feature other artistes like Davido, Tiwa Savage, Wizkid, Ycee, Mr Eazi.
