Ayesha Nazir Jatt عائشہ نذیر جٹ is a Pakistani politician who contested as an independent candidate in the 2013 general election.

Early life and education[edit]

Ayesha Nazir Jatt went for her higher education to University College London (UCL), where she graduated in BSc. (Hons) Project Management for Construction CIOB accredited from Bartlett, UK. During her studies, she has also been a Transition Mentor in UCL [2], and developed interest towards Sustainable Development, which led her to Pursue her MSc. degree in Environmental Strategy, from Centre of Environmental Strategy CES, University of Surrey , UK. She is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) UK. She also provided her educational services in Architecture and Interior Design Engineering Department, College of Engineering, Prince Sultan University (PSU). She has been an observer for Fullbridge (USA) Program 7 for PSU. She also represented PSU in Ministry of Education, KSA.

Political career[edit]

She is a daughter of Ch. Nazir Ahmed Jatt, Ex-MNA [6], in District Vehari. Having seen her father work since childhood, her interest in politics developed. During her studies, she participated in Pakistan Future Leaders Conference (PFLC) held at Oxford University, UK. She became an active working member of Ch.Nazir Jatt's group. She is eldest of five siblings, Dr. Arifa Nazir; Umar Nazir; Maryam Nazir; and Fatimah Nazir. Her sister, Mohtarama Dr. Arifa Nazir Jatt also contested in General Elections 2013 from NA168.[1]

Mohtarama Ayesha Nazir Jatt's [2] official Political career started in October 2012, when she actively started campaigning and participated as an Independent candidate NA167 for General Elections 2013. She received approximately 44,000 votes, becoming a runner up.[3][4][5]

Recently,[when?] she joined[6] PTI [7] along with Ch. Nazir Ahmed Jatt,[8] and is contesting by-elections 2016 PP232 on 14 July 2016 [9] as MPA candidate for PTI.[10]
