Azeus Systems Holdings Ltd. is an information technology (IT) solutions and product provider global holding company that specializes in software development. Its headquarters is located in Hong Kong and operates in North America, Africa, United Kingdom, Australia, Malaysia, Philippines, India, Europe, and China.
The company has developed IT solutions including Convene which expands to over 100 countries[2] and AzeusCare.
In 2012, the Hong Kong Public Libraries (HKPL) selected Azeus to improve its Multi-Media Information System (MMIS)[3] to a platform that manages resources in various formats.
From 2015 to 2016, Azeus delivered software development services and a legislation drafting and amendment browser tool for a consortium of UK and Scottish Parliaments led by The Stationery Office (TSO).
In 2018, Azeus has received various accolades including the Silver Stevie Award for Innovation In Business Utility Apps and the SaaS Enterprise Solution of the Year at the IT Europa Awards.[4]
On March 15, 2022, Azeus announced the appointment of Michael Yap,[5] a former independent director of the company and the current deputy chairperson, as its new CEO. Yap has been recognized as one of the “Top 100 Future Global Leaders” by the World Economic Forum and one of the “50 Stars of Asia” by Bloomberg BusinessWeek.
Lam Pui Wan, spouse of Lee Wan Lik, founder and Chairperson of Azeus, has passed away. She was 62 years old[6] on May 6, 2022. She had been with Azeus during its early days and laid a strong foundation for the development and success of the company. Lam was also a board member, director and shareholder of the company. She holds 90% interest in Mu Xia Ltd. the majority shareholder of Azeus Systems Holdings Ltd.
In May 2022, Azeus closed a HK$1B contract with the Hong Kong Government to build a central and robust record keeping system.[7]

Azeus was founded in Hong Kong by Lee Wan Lik in 1991. Lee graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with degrees in Computer Science and Engineering, and Mathematics. The company started with three employees providing software development, system integration, and system maintenance for various departments and agencies of the Hong Kong Government. Through its innovative solutions, Azeus delivered notable technological milestones in its early years of operation.
Recognitions[edit]
In 2003, Azeus was one of the first 30 organizations worldwide to acquire a Level 5 appraisal under the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). The CMMI standard was developed by the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon University which involves an assessment of a software company's core processes including project management and support. Azeus has maintained its CMMI Level 5 appraisal up to the present day.[8]
Azeus was also the first organization to be awarded by the Hong Kong Government in 2004 with a full-office outsourcing contract to provide IT consulting, maintenance, and support services. That same year, Azeus was publicly listed in the Singapore Exchange Main Board (SGX).

Azeus launched Convene in February 2011, which was first originally called Anywhere Pad. It is a meeting and document collaboration technology for organization leaders. In 2014, the product was renamed and rebranded as Convene[9] to better reflect the original idea behind the product's development. By 2018, Convene has been developed to support eleven international languages[10] including German, Japanese, and Chinese, in line with the product's global reach.
By March 2014, the company launched AzeusCare which is a case management solution designed for social care and health workers. By April 2020, Azeus successfully launched ConveneAGM which serves as a platform that facilitates remote and hybrid annual general meetings of organization's stakeholders, It was launched in the Philippines in 2021.[11] The product supported the guidelines implemented by stock exchanges and authorities in conducting AGMs safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.

From three employees in its foundation, Azeus expanded to more than 300 employees mostly with IT expertise. The company operates in Hong Kong, the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Kenya, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, UAE, China, Spain, India, Nigeria, and Turkey. Azeus expanded its client base to over 100 countries worldwide, serving both public and private sectors including banks, investment firms, Fortune 500, FTSE 100 companies, government departments, and statutory bodies. Azeus maintained its operations even during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 with its product, ConveneAGM, that supported the shift in conducting remote and hybrid annual general meetings of company shareholders.
