Azra Games LLC is an American video game developer headquartered in Sacramento, California. It was founded in January 2022 . The company is using blockchain and web3 technology to create virtual collectibles to be used in a blockchain game format.[1] [2] The studio was founded by former EA and BioWare executive Mark Otero and entrepreneurs Sonny Mayugba (COO) and Travis Boudreaux (CTO)[3]

On May 19, 2022 Azra Games announced financial support from Andreessen Horowitz, NFX, Coinbase Ventures, Play Ventures and Franklin Templeton.[4] [5] This seed funding will be applied to development of Legions & Legends, which was announced as Azra Games' first project on June 28, 2022.[6]
