Azra Public School (Hindi: अज़रा पब्लिक स्कूल) (Urdu: اذرا پبلک اسکول) is a CBSE-affiliated school in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It was established in 1984 under the banner of Andhra Pradesh Modern Education and Services Society[1] by Mohammed Waliulla and his wife Azra Waliulla at Asif Nagar Road, Mehdipatnam.[2][3]

Azra Public School was established in 1984 under the banner of Andhra Pradesh Modern Education and Services Society[1][2] by Mohammed Waliulla (who is also the chairman of the Sultan-ul Uloom Education Society[4][5]) and his wife Azra Waliulla with around 64 students.
In 2019 they opened an International branch in Bharat Nagar which has a larger campus.
Location[edit]
The school has three branches:
- The main branch in Asif Nagar[6]
- A Pre-Primary Wing at Asif Nagar Road[7]
- An “International Branch” in Bharat Nagar[8]
Facilities[edit]
The school hosts a small auditorium and a playground. It has three laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics and computer science activities and a library.[1]
It also has a Medical Team and an In-house school counsellor. SMS messages are sent to parents regarding Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTM), homework, etc.[9][10]
The entire school is also monitored via CCTV cameras.[11] It also provided limited transportation facilities but that has stalled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[10]
School Timings[edit]
- Nursery: 8.30 am - 12:30 pm
- Kindergarten: 8:30 am - 2:45 pm
- Class I to X: 8:30 am - 3:00 pm
- Office and Reception: 8:30 am - 2 pm[10]
However, the school had switched to remote-learning due to the lockdown.
