BA Systems is the first Indian enterprise core and edge managed router manufacturer company.[1]
It is the 4th largest player in the Router segment of India, as of year 2007-08.[2] It is headquartered in Bangalore with offices in Cupertino, CA, USA.
In November 2007, BA Systems launched the first made-in-India router.[3]
It is funded by Bessemer Venture Partners, a U.S.-based private venture capital firm. It has backed such companies as Ciena, Qualcomm Flarion Technologies, Parametric Technology, Skype, Staples, VeriSign and Veritas.
BA Systems has on its board Rob Chandra, who was part of the Forbes' The Midas List 2008.[4]
Early 2010, BA Systems was acquired by France-based OneAccess Networks.
