BBnZ Live is a Ghanaian entertainment company, artist-management firm, and record label based in Accra. The company was incorporated in August 2011 and provides services in music production, artist development, event management, and media advertising.[1][2]
History
BBnZ Live was established by directors Alvin Bekoe, Kwame Blay (also known as "KB") and Michael "Zinney" Jaba. The name is derived from the surnames Bekoe, Blay and Zinney, with "Live" reflecting its entertainment services.[2] In June 2014, the rapper Ko-Jo Cue signed on to BBnZ Live for artist management.[1] The company has been cited as an example of a Ghanaian company engaging in multiple facets of the entertainment industry, beyond just a traditional record label.[2]
Operations
BBnZ Live's business activities include production of music recordings, artist management, media planning and advertising, event coordination, and the establishment of a recording studio in Ring Road Central, Accra.[2] The company has worked with prominent Ghanaian artists including E.L. and Lil Shaker during various phases of their careers.[3]
