BDSwiss
BDSwiss is a Group of brokerage firms, offering Contract-for-Difference (CFDs) on Forex, precious metals, stock indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies.
Regulated in Europe[1] by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (the “CySEC”, license no. 199/13[2][3] and registration no. HE 300153[4]), the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius (FSC[5]) under License Number: C116016172[6] and the National Futures Association in the United States (NFA ID: 0486419[7])[8], the Group of companies serve retail and institutional clients from all over the world. The Group's holding company BDSwiss AG[9],is based in Zug, Switzerland.
Operations/History[edit]
Founded in 2012, BDSwiss was the licensed brand of Keplero Holdings Ltd[10] which was later renamed to BDSwiss Holdings PLC.
In 2013, BDSwiss started as a binary options brokerage firm[11] offering the SpotOption platform software.
In 2016, the company started providing Forex/CFDs[12] trading via Metatrader4 by Metaquotes as its forex trading platform[13] and launched SwissMarkets[14] trade name operating under the STP (Straight Through Processing) business model.
In 2017, BDSwiss launched its internally developed mobile apps for CFDs trading, available for both iOS[15] and Android[16] mobile devices.
In 2018, following the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) announcement[17][18], the company discontinued its binary options offering [19], announced the launch of its in-house developed WebTrader[20] and Trading Academy[21] and expansion in Southeast Asia markets[22]within Q3 of 2018.
