BMG Money is a privately held financial services company based in the United States with its headquarters in Miami, Florida. The company provides loan solutions and free financial tools for money management.[1][2]
History[edit]
BMG Money was founded by Angela Guimaraes[3] in Miami, FL.[4] The company offers fixed-rate, fixed-payment loans for retirees, employees, and federal employees of up to $5,000 to help them avoid predatory lenders.[4][5] Tom McCormick and Paulo de Tarso Coroa are Co-CEOs of the company.[6]
BMG Money caters to the needs of Americans who struggle with subprime credit or limited access to other loan sources.[7] It provides emergency loans, employee benefits, alternative lending, financial education, LoansForFeds, and loans for underserved populations.[8][5][9]
BMG Money created an employee benefit program ''LoansAtWork'' that helps employers reduce their employees' financial distress through manageable credit.[6]
BMG Money also donated to hospitals, schools, and a political campaign called Citizens for a Healthy Miami-Dade.[10][4][9]
