BORN Group (formerly called Group FMG) is a global digital content and production agency based in New York. It has offices in New York, London, Toronto, Tokyo, Singapore, Chennai, Bangalore and Pune..[1]. Employing over 1,100 people, BORN executes a majority of its advertising business from offices in Chennai & Pune, India. Some of their clients include Big Bus Tours, Hackett, Tata Cliq, Lorna Jane and AJIO.[2]

In November 2019, BORN Group was acquired by IT services firm Tech Mahindra Ltd. (Tech M) for $95 million in an all-cash deal[3]

History[edit]

The digital agency was founded in 2011 by private equity firm True North and Zodius Capital, a growth capital and build-out investor. BORN began as a combination of two acquired firms, Group FMG, a content production house, and an NY-based marketing boutique that specialized in creative design, Pod1[4]. In 2014, this combined entity was re-branded BORN Group[5]

Partnerships[edit]

BORN has partnered with several technology companies including Adobe, SAP, Salesforce, IBM, Emarsys, Elasticpath and Bloomreach.[6]
