Creative Digital Agency (CDA) is an independent marketing/advertising firm headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area.[1][2]
History
Creative Digital Agency was founded in 2017 by Bay Area entrepreneur Jin Kim,[3][4] with Kevin Almeida serving as Manager of Marketing Services.[5][6] Later that year, the firm onboarded new clients including the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board, Merck Animal Health, and the Contra Costa Transportation Authority.[7]
In 2018, the firm launched Merck Animal Health’s “My Vet Offers” campaign, which received awards from Mobile Marketing Magazine, the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), and AgencySpotter.com, and received a nomination from Digiday.[8][9]
CDA continued expanding into the travel/tourism space throughout the year, with new clients including Airbnb, Visit Savannah, and Visit Valley Forge.[10] The firm became a member of the American Association of Advertising Agencies.[11]
In 2019, CDA was ranked the #32 Digital/Specialist Agency on the MMA’s Global Business Impact Index, received the ITV GameChangers Award,[12][13] and was recognized with wins from the Hermes Creative Awards[14] and Gov Design Awards.[15] New clients included the City of Sausalito, the City of Benicia, and SpendLabs.[16]
That summer, the company launched InZa Lab, a program to connect brands with emerging Generation Z marketing professionals as they entered the workforce.[17][18] In 2020, CDA expanded to Las Vegas, and received the Hermes Creative Award for the second time.[19] The agency launched the City of Benicia’s Great Escape by the Bay campaign in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which resulted in the destination being featured on Live With Kelly and Ryan.[20]
In 2021, CDA was ranked for the first time on the Inc 5000 List.[21][22]
