Babu Ramachandran

Babu Ramachandran is a television journalist and writer from Kerala, India[1] who is known for his informative web series called "Vallathoru Katha". He has won the Kerala State Television Award for Best Anchor for "Vallathoru Katha" in 2020. In 2025, he launched an independent media organization named FableFolks Research LLP,[2] through which he produces documentaries and video programs.[3]

Early Life and Career
Babu Ramachandran was born in 1982 in Valanchery, in Kerala. He completed his early education at Ramanattukara High School and Government Arts and Science College, Kozhikode. He earned his engineering degree in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation from MES Engineering College, Kuttippuram. Following this, he worked as a seismic engineer for multinational companies in the oil and gas sector.
From 2019, he worked as a broadcast journalist for six years across Asianet News Digital and the Asianet News television channel.
