Bacenor
From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki
Bacenor (or Bakenor) was a cavalry officer in the army of Judas Maccabee who went to war against Gorgias, the governor of Idumaea.[1][2][3] He is described in 2 Maccabees (one of the deuterocanonical books of the Bible).[4][5][6] Bacenor is variously described as the father of Dositheus or his commander, due to differences in translation.[7][8]
