Syniti is an American data management software and services company. It partners with software companies such as SAP.[1]

History[edit]

BackOffice Associates, LLC, was founded in 1996 by Tom and Trish Kennedy;[2] who sold out in 2012.[citation needed] In 2017 Bridge Growth Partners took a majority stake.[3] In 2019 the name was changed to Syniti.[4][5]

Over the years the company has released several pieces of software, including the Data Stewardship Platform[6] and information governance products.[7]

Acquisitions[edit]

  • In April 2010 it acquired HiT Software, a California data company[8]
  • in July 2012 it acquired Headwall Software Inc., a Canadian custom mobile company.[9]
  • in December 2013 it acquired ENTOTA, UK SAP data services consultancy[10]
  • in April 2016 it acquired CompriseIT, a UK consulting firm.[11]
