I have no money or any interest in the website. I have discovered it in a YouTube advertising and looked for it in Wikipedia. So, the answer is clearly no. I am going to ask for notability. Thank you!!. I have improved it deleting the advertising like way of the first one, by the way, not written by me. BoldLuis (talk) 02:23, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
Back Market, Inc. is a multinational consumer electronics e-commerce platform that specializes in the sale of refurbished electronics, [1] acting in circular economy as an intermediary between sellers and consumers.[2] It is headquartered in New York[3] and in France and was founded in 2014.[4]
Although the company's initial primary source of revenue has been smartphones, Back Market has extended their business to other types of consumer electronics such as tablets, laptops, and smartwatches.[5] The company is trying to focus on sustainability, waste reduction,[6] and quality control.[7][8]
History
In May 2017, Back Market received $7 million of Series A funding from Daphni[9] and Aglaé Ventures. In June 2018, the company received more funding from other companies.[10][11][12]
As of May 2020, the company has over 1,000 certified refurbished sellers on their platform and employs about 280 people across three offices in New York (Brooklyn), Paris, and Bordeaux.[13] The company currently sells products in the US, Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Spain, the UK, and Belgium.[14]
