BackupVault is a cloud-based data backup provider. It offers three products:

    • Server Cloud Backup - An automatic online backup tool which allows Windows, Mac and Linux users to backup their data to off-site data centers.
    • Laptop and PC Backup - An automatic online backup solution that allows data backups on devices for personal and business use.
    • Data Recovery - A data recovery solution called InstantData that restores lost data due to an event of virtual disaster.

    Overview

Founded in 2004, BackupVault is the trading name of Blueraq Networks Ltd – an IT company based in the heart of London. It currently has 11–50 employees[1].

BackupVault has two data centers based in Slough and Reading. Both of the data centers hold ISO 9001[2] certification and ISO 27001 [3]certification.

    Technology

BackupVault uses Attix5 Pro[4] software platform to provide its data backup services.

Attix5 was first created in 1999. In January 2017 BackupVault upgraded to the latest Attix5 Pro Version 17.

    Encryption

BackupVault offers multi-layered data security. This is achieved by two UK-based data centers with physical security in place and an encryption system [5] for all files stored.
