Baghonwali[1] is a village (Gram Panchayat) located in Muzaffarnagar district, India, 5 km to the north of Muzaffarnagar City.[2] It lies on Delhi-Dehradun Highway NH-58. Baghonwali is a Urdu word meaning ‘A place of Gardens’.Baghonwali has a population about 13000 in which 90% are Gaur Muslims, Remaining 10% have Dalits and Other Caste of Muslims. It comes under Purqazi seat of Vidhan Sabha Constituency and in Bijnor Loksabha seat. Mrs. Nargis Roshan w/o Syed Roshan[3] is Gram Pradhan of Baghonwali.
Baghonwali has neighbor village Bajheri and Ratheri.
Baghonwali has very renowned Madarasa ‘Madarsa Khadimul Uloom[4]’ which is largest Madarsa of Muzaffarnagar district and produced notable Islamic Scholars.
Madarasa Khadimul Uloom[edit]
Khadimul Uloom is an Islamic seminary in Baghonwali, Muzaffarnagar .It is located just western most part of Baghonwali located 25 km south of Deoband and 5 km North of Muzaffarnagar city.It was founded by prominent Islamic Scholars and leader ‘Deputy Abdur Raheem’ under the guidance of Maulana Ilyas Kandhlavi,Founder of Tablighi Jamat.
