Bahadur Hussain Khan was the direct descendant of Miyan Tansen and his son in law Naubat Khan.He was the favorite musician of the Nawab Wajid Ali Shah.The Nawab of Awadh bestowed on him the title of Zia Ud Daulah

After 1857[edit]

Bahadur hussain Khan was invited to Rampur by Nawab Yusuf Ali Khan as Awadh was annexed by the Britishers.He arrived in Rampur on 26th April 1857.Nawab Yusuf Ali Khan gave him a mansion,mango orchard and palanquin to honor the musician.
