Baka-Tsuki is a translation community that uploads fan translations for light novels. The website was founded in 2006 by user Thelastguardian and currently hosts 251 translation projects in over 27 different languages[1] and is run under the Wikipedia style format. It focuses exclusively on the light novel genre, excluding anime and manga. With over 146 English works in progress,[2] 105 teaser projects,[3] and 26 completed projects,[4] Baka-Tsuki remains the largest fan-based non-profit translation community.
