Synopsis[edit]
Bablu and Jana are childhood friends. They live in the same neighborhood. Stimulated by the juvenile vigor, Jana gets into a confrontation with a local political party. A police case is filed against him. Jana absconds. He tries to contact Bablu through Gouri-di. She does not agree, as she always wants to protect Bablu from all potential dangers. Her relationship with Bablu is a little strange one. It's not apparently conventional though they have grown up as neighborhood brother and elder sister. Bablu wants to escape with Gouridi and give her tormented life some relief. But he cannot. Rather, in an otherwise usual morning he witnesses Gouri-di’s body floating in the canal. Bablu
comes to know that, she has been raped before killed.
One day, Jana’s hide out is discovered by the goons of political party he had confronted with. He is shot dead. Bablu watches Jana’s murder secretly but cannot do anything. He feels helpless.
Bablu’s life gradually becomes mechanical. His over-protective father is pretty happy with him now. But his happiness does not continue for long. Police arrive in their neighborhood looking for a young terrorist of about Bablu's age. Bablu's father gets scared. He tells Bablu to flee. Bablu cannot reason with his father and finally tries to flee but noticed by the police men. He ran into another locality. He bangs the doors and finds his father standing at every door.
A gun shot draws curtain over Bablu's hitherto uneventful life.
