Bala Sarda (Balkrishna Sarda) is the CEO & Founder of the award-winning premium Indian tea startup VAHDAM TEAS.[1] He started the world’s first vertically integrated online tea brand, which works to bring global consumers a better, fresher cup of tea straight from renowned tea plantations, all within the shortest time possible. He was inducted into the prestigious list of ‘Forbes 30 under 30’ Asia (Retail and Commerce) for the year 2018 and onto the list of ‘Entrepreneurs 35 Under 35’ for 2019.[2]
Background
Born on 2 July 1991 in New Delhi, he graduated from Delhi University with a degree in Business Studies. Before launching his award-winning startup ‘VAHDAM TEAS’, he had also launched two successful student startups while in college.
