Baloda is a village in Rajasthan, India. Its Mandal is Surajgarsh and district is Jhunjhunu.It is located at 17.7 kilometres from Surajgarh, 54.2 kilometres from Jhunjhunu, 157 kilometres from Jaipur.
Baloda Thikana Established by Jagirdars/Thikanedar Raj shree Thakur dalel singh ji shekhawat. thakur dalel singh ji ruler of pilani and established pilani,and dalelgarh fort (pilani) built in 1824. Thakur dalel singh ji was brave and perfect warriors during his lifetime he fought mandan war in 1832. After some time they left pilani fort and migrated to baloda thikana.
THAKUR DALEL SINGH JI SHEKHAWAT was handed over baloda thikana with 12 other village in the area. After Thakur Dalel Singh ji , his son Thakur Dan Singh ji and Thakur Laxman Singh ji took over the Jagir.The descendants of Dalel Singh ji built a small fort in middle of baloda thikana.
Shekhawats of baloda thikana are of Bhojraj clan and Shardulsinghot subclan .thakur Dalel Singh ji was son of nawalgarh maharaja Raj shree thakur Nawal Singh ji bhadur and grandson of jhunjhunu maharaja Raj shree Thakur shardul singh ji shekhawat .
The Jagirdari in Baloda Thikana lasted from generation to generation till the independence of the country 1947 .baloda thikana was a independent thikana(riyasat) . baloda thikana was having their independent flag and coat or arms( logo ). baloda was hathiband thikana elephant were kept and horse ,camel also kept baloda in rajwada time .
