Balram Shri Krishna is a 1968 Indian action movie, directed by Chandrakant, starring Shahu Modak, Jayshree Gadkar, Dara Singh, Savitri, Prem Nath, Aruna Irani, Geetanjali and Randhawa.
Plot
It is about various conflicts, events and brotherhood between the Yadava Prince brothers, Balram and Krishna. It adapts the tales of the wedding of Balram and Revati, Kalyavan vadh by Muchkunda, Jarasandha Vadh, Rukmini Haran, the vrata of eight Patranis of Krishna, Krishna Sudama, Subhadra Haran, Surekha Haran/Maya Bazaar, Usha Haran/War between Krishna and Banasura, imprisonment of Sambha by Kauravas, and Balram approaches Duryodhana to free him. Duryodhana and Arjuna approach Krishna for war, Krishna sides with Arjuna, while Balarama, not wanting bloodshed, goes on a tirthyatra to various significant dhams, temples, and prays for peace. The movie ends with scenes of Krishna leading Arjuna's chariot in Kurukshetra.
