The Baltic Innovation Prize is an award given annually by the Baltic Assembly for achievements in innovation and new technologies.[1][2][3]

Once a year the prize given to the most innovative company in the Baltic states who have implemented new economically successful evolution in their products, services or business models during the last three years.[4][5] The capital of the awarded company at least 51 % has to be made up of private national capital and the company has to be registered in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania.[6][7]

The Baltic Innovation Prize is in the form of a statuette and a certificate [8]. The certificate is signed by the Baltic Assembly President, Vice Presidents and Heads of the Association.[9] The award is presented together with the Baltic Assembly Prize for Literature, the Arts and Science at awards ceremony in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania.[10][11][12] The information about the awarded companies is published by the News media in Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.[13]

The Baltic Innovation Prize was established on 2010 by the Baltic Assembly and the Baltic Association of Science / Technology Parks and Innovation Centres.[14][15]
