The Bangkok Tigers (TIGERS), is a member team of the Thailand Basketball League (TBL) (Thai: ไทยแลนด์บาสเกตบอลลีก), a men's professional basketball league in Thailand. TBL started in 2012 by Basketball Sport Association of Thailand to develop basketball players in Thailand.<ref> Besides a core of talented Thai players, teams are allowed to recruit 3 foreign players (from non-ASEAN countries like the United States) but can have only 1 foreign player on the court at a time. The champions are awarded ฿3,000,000.
The TIGERS have grown a successful fan base in their first year of operation. They are presently recruiting players for the TBL D-League Tournament beginning October 24, 2018 and for the upcoming 2019 regular TBL Season.
