Bangladesh Institutes of Technology
Bangladesh Institute of Technology (Template:Langx) or BIT was a common name of four public engineering universities in Bangladesh. The universities were established in 1 July, 1986 by the Bangladesh Institutes of Technology Ordinance, 1986 (Ordinance No. XXI of 1986). The BITs were BIT, Chittagong in Chittagong, BIT, Rajshahi in Rajshahi, BIT, Khulna in Khulna and BIT, Dhaka in Gazipur. In 2003, the universities were renamed.
