Banimon
Banimon is a print/online comic about the adventures of rabbit Tomao and his band of misfit friends, in search of a magic mushroom called Banimon. Some of the other major characters are Tesla (the inventor), Oracle (the evil financial magnate), Tuki (tiger/grand delegator), Princess (a punk-rock dominatrix with a whip) and Ma Idi (the monster).[1][not in citation given]
The comic is written and illustrated by Boston-based artist Boris Savic and printed by Rocket North Press. The style of the comic combines Japanese animation and Manga approach with Eastern Europe and 1920s woodcuts and colorful backgrounds/patterns.
Banimon's creator Boris Savic has also collaborated with several local artists, producing custom toys with Onell Design[2] as well as album art and live painting with rock band Destroy Babylon.
