Barbana Dini, born on 3 July 1987 in Shkodër, is an Albanian singer.
Life and career[edit]
Dini began her musical career at the age of seven when she participated in music festivals for children. She participated in the Albanian version of Idol, Ethet e së premtes mbrëma, in which, among others, Rosela Gjylbegu previously participated. In December 2004, she participated in the Festivali i Këngës 43, which the year before became Albania's selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. She performed with the song "Jeta këtu s'mbaron", but did not make it to the final, which was won by Ledina Çelo. She began her solo career after graduating from the University of Tirana in 2009. In March of that year, she released her debut single "Flirt". Later that year, she also released the song "Ex-in tim". In November 2009, she performed in Kënga Magjike 2011 with the song "Se jam vajzë". In 2010 she had a role in the movie Pasion fluturimi. In 2011 she released the single "Hajna Hajna" and participated in Kënga Magjike 2013 with the song "E pamundur të të dua". During the summer In 2012 she released the song "Thrret Prizreni mori Shkodër". Barbana Dini is the sister of singer Ergi Dini (born 1994), who won X Factor Albania 2 in 2014.
