Born on May 8, 2000 in Pavlan of Peja municipality[1][2][3], he began his music career in January 2020 with the release of his debut single "Idiote". The music video reached 1.5 million views on YouTube in its first week.[4] By the end of 2020, the song had reached 10 million views.
After "Idiote", Gjesti released several other songs, including "Ani" (2022), a collaboration with singer Ema,[5] and "Beba" (2023), produced by Albos.

Television
In 2024, Gjesti participated in the third season of Big Brother VIP Kosova, spending 83 days in the house before being eliminated following a public vote against Drilon Rama.[6]
During this season, he was noted for his interactions with housemate Xheneta Fetahu. Some media sources described their relationship as friendly, occasionally interpreted as flirtatious, though neither confirmed a romantic involvement.[7]
In early 2025, Gjesti entered the fourth season of Big Brother VIP Albania.[8] During this season, his communication and interactions with fellow contestant Egli Tako were noted, and media outlets speculated about the nature of their relationship.[9]
An incident occurred during the final when fellow contestant Jozefin Marku slapped Gjesti at the moment of eviction, which received widespread media coverage. Marku was taken into police custody and released the following day. He later stated the action was in response to ongoing provocations. After the incident, Marku's official Instagram account appeared to be deactivated or hacked according to news online.[10][11][12]
On 20 April 2025, Gjesti won Big Brother VIP Albania 4, defeating Rozana Radi in the final and receiving the highest number of public votes.[13]
