Barbara Salopek is a Norway based Croatian businesswoman. She is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vinco Innovation, an innovation and sustainability services company.
Life and career[edit]
Salopek was born and raised in Zagreb, Croatia.
After finishing her early education at Lucijan Vranjanin High School in 1998, Salopek enrolled at The University of Zagreb from where she graduated in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Salopek later obtained a double Master’s in Business Administration, from Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen, and University of Cologne in Zagreb.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
During the early part of career she worked at different telecommunications companies including VIPnet, Portus, and T-Mobile before becoming an independent innovation consulatant and advisor.[7][8][9][10]
In 2016, Barbara founded Vinco Innovation, an innovation and sustainability services company.[11][12][13][14][15]
In 2018, Salopek joined the BI Norwegian Business School as an adjunct lecturer.[16][17][18]
In 2022, Salopek became member of the national steering committee of Econa.[19][20][21]
Salopek is member of the expert group Health of Bergen Chamber of Commerce.[22]
