Barry Donachie (born 21 December 1979 in Dundee) is a Scottish footballer who is currently without a club following his release from Forfar Athletic.
Career[edit]
Having been developed as a player through Dundee United's youth scheme, he turned professional with the club in July 1998. Donachie failed to make a senior appearance that season and spent the latter part on loan with Arbroath, making three league appearances. Following his release at the end of the season, Donachie moved to Brechin City in November 1999, where he made nearly fifty league appearances over a three-year period. Donachie's final Brechin appearance in November 2000 ended with a dismissal in a 5-1 defeat to Airdrie United and he moved to Montrose in January 2003 where he played nearly 150 league games and was captain. Donachie moved to Forfar in January 2008[1] but was released in May
