Basant Kumari Debi (1931-03-12 to 1998-05-14) was born on 12th March 1931 in Parvathipuram, Andhra Pradesh. She was an Indian female Odia writer during British India. She received the Sahitya Akademi Translation Prize in 1989 for her notable work in translations. She died on 14th May 1998.
