Bashir Ahwaz (بشير الأهواز) is a Libyan rebel commander who participated in the First Libyan Civil War. During the Battle of Sabha in September 2011, he commanded anti-Gaddafi forces advancing on the city of Sabha under the National Transitional Council (NTC).[1]
Military career
During the Battle of Sabha, Ahwaz led anti-Gaddafi forces as they entered the city and fought against loyalist troops. The battle concluded with the capture of Sabha by National Transitional Council forces in September 2011.
