Basit Saeed (Urdu: باسط سعید‎; born August 10, 1969) is a Pakistani cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Sialkot.[1] He was born in Sialkot.

Basit played in the majority of Sialkot's matches during the 2000–01 season, including making 37 in the first innings of the final which was won by Sialkot on first innings lead in order to secure their promotion to Grade I of the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.[2]

Basit made his first-class debut appearance against Sheikhupura in January 2002.[3] During that season he played in three further matches against Lahore Blues,[4] Rest of Punjab,[5] and Islamabad,[6] as a top-order batsman. After averaging just 11.42 in the 2001/02 season, Basit did not appear for Sialkot in the 2002/03 season, and never played first-class cricket again.
