Battle of Bukovac
The Battle of Bukovac was a military engagement between the Liberation Army of Preševo, Medveđa and Bujanovac and the Yugoslav Army in the village of Bukovac.

Background
In 2000, in the Zahirive District, discussions emerged concerning the naming of Brigade 113 in honor of the UÇK martyr, Ibrahim Fejzullahu. This proposal was introduced with the involvement of key figures such as Mustafa Shaqiri, Reshat Ajvazi, and Lulzim Ibishi. Additionally, Luan Xhemaili, an emigrant from Switzerland, was present at a meeting where he reported on the activities of the 'Voice of the Motherland' Fund, which aimed to support emigrants with contributions of 500 CHF each.
Battle
On December 8, 2000, LAPMB units moved towards Bukovac after Serbian forces had entered the village and engaged in a confrontation with local inhabitants.The action was undertaken despite the ongoing process of collecting combat equipment and organizing the fighters. Hours away from their first battle against Serbian forces at 'Kodra e Varenave.
The battle commenced at Kodra e Varenave, marking a significant moment in the history of the Operative Zone of Presheva within the 113 "Ibrahim Fejzullahu" Brigade. It was in this battle that the Serbian forces, who sought to maintain control in the area, engaged with LAPMB fighters who were determined to protect their communities. The outcome of the battle resulted in Serbian forces withdrawing from Bukovac.
